Cafayate/Corralito, Valles Calchaquíes,
Northwest Argentina
Duration: 3 days / 2 nights
Riding level: Intermediate and Advanced
The journey begins with a two-hour guided horseback ride towards Cerro El Toldito. Upon returning, we participate in a traditional Salteña empanada-making workshop, later sharing them for dinner. The unique rural lodging allows us to immerse ourselves in the silence and tranquility of the countryside.
The next day, we wake up to a country breakfast and begin our eight-hour horseback journey. We cross and delve into the immensity of the Quebrada de las Conchas nature reserve to enjoy the diversity of the landscape and contemplate the vastness of the valley hills, accompanied by a local cheese and salami board.
We will spend the night at the rural outpost where we will share a bonfire, traditional barbecue (asado), and drinks.
On the third day, we start with a country breakfast before returning in our vehicles to the estate.
