Patagonia
The Hidden Experience — Transformative days on horseback, quiet mountains and enveloping valleys, a land shaped by the wind, hard work and a gaucho identity that is still alive. We traverse these mountains at a slow pace and freeing canters, staying at country houses and gaucho outposts, sharing Asados and Mate with those who have spent generations inhabiting these lands. Discover the Patagonian intimacy.
Hidden Glaciers Ride
Calafate, Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Duration: 4 days / 3 nights
Riding level: All levels / Intermediate
XXXX saddle and Criollo horses
Patagonia, deeply felt and quietly unforgettable.
We visit the three outposts that are the base of the journey; refuges that take us back to authentic traditional rural life. The unique combination of Andean forests, crystal-clear lakes, high mountains, open skies, and imposing glaciers.
The goal is to reach those points where vehicles cannot go, leave the main estancia behind, gain altitude, and enter another world after crossing the mountain pass.
During the ride, you will have magnificent views of the Hidden Glaciers: Frías, Gorra, Grande, and Dickson.
