There are corners of the Argentine Northwest that remain entirely off the beaten path, and the Potreros de Payogasta area is one of them. This is an expedition you won't find in travel agencies or tourism portals: a route discovered only by word of mouth and close connections, revealing landscapes so pristine and awe-inspiring that they leave even the locals speechless. Over the course of three days, we immerse ourselves on horseback through hills, high-altitude ravines, and mountain trails where the sheer vastness of the scenery surrounds you completely.
We guide every step of the way, personally overseeing each detail to ensure the experience is intimate, genuine, and close to heart. The journey combines full days of riding with the warmth of feeling right at home: we stay at our own family country house in Ciénaga Grande and at authentic mountain outposts like La Bodeguita.
At the end of each day in the saddle, the reward is gathering around the fire. We share traditional lamb asados under the stars, hearty stews cooked in cast-iron pots, glasses of wine, and long evening conversations. A rustic yet deeply cared-for expedition, designed for those seeking a true connection with the land and the rhythm of country life.

MUST BRING
Expect an arid climate, with abrupt temperature changes. During the day we are around 22ºC. At night temperatures can drop to 5ºC. Even during the summer, when the sun goes down it can be very cold.
Personal and basic medicines - remember that we will be in remote places away from civilization.
