Potrero de Payogasta

Potrero de Payogasta, Valles Calchaquíes, Argentine Northwest

Duration: 4 days / 3 nights

Level: All levels

XXXX type saddle and criollo horses

Four days on horseback through the hills of Salta, in the heart of the Argentine Northwest. A land of contrasts that surprises: green on the slopes, arid valleys of ochre tones, and skies that justify the trip on their own.

Diego, a local guide from the Payogasta pastures, guides us along trails he knows by heart in a landscape that has a name, history and meaning. The journey advances unhurriedly, letting the North reveal itself at its own pace.

Nights are spent in tents under the stars or in mountain ranches. No signal, no noise. Just the sound of the earth around you.
